Ok I am trying to get my house in order for the day when my tractor is to be picked up. Monday I hope. It is a JD 4110. I now have a JD455. I have a 15 ft trailer with dual axles. My question is will my drop down ramp hold the extra weight of the 4110. The gate is made of 3/8 angle iron, 3 rungs going with the length and box frame around that on extruded metal as the flooring. The hinge is about ½ inch rod running the width. I know the trailer can handle the extra load but what about the gate that is my ramp. I will also have the 410 loader and some times my rear blade. I know all three will not be able to fit on the trailer because of the length. Thanks for your help.

It should just fit in a fifteen foot space, assuming you are talking about a rear grader type blade. A box scraper would be even shorter.
My 4115 has a longer wheel base than the 4110 and just fits on a 16 foot trailer with the backhoe installed. ....

If you were looking for a new trailer and described your 4110 I think most trailer dealers would recommend construction trailer style ramps, not a landscape trailer style gate. Some extra reinforcement aligned with the 4110's tires to support the expanded metal is probably the least you should do. Don't wait until the expanded metal gets stretched or you'll have more work to do. The 1/2" hinge pin should be OK as long as there are several mounting points on both the trailer and gate along its length (like a long piano hinge) to distribute the shear force. ....
